Viva play a critical part of the solution for Beria Port, Mozambique
Viva Engineering were contracted to structurally design, shop detail, fabricate, corrosion protect the pier pylons for the Beira Coal Terminal pier development.
The scope included the cross border delivery to site of the pylons, each of which were 16m long, 2.4m in diameter and comprising of 50mm rolled plate.
The full penetration welding conformed to AWS D1.1 standards and required multiple X-ray testing before being signed off by Viva’s quality department.
