Viva Engineering was contracted by our customer based in Finland to structurally design, shop detail, manufacture, corrosion protect, transport to site, and install at SAPPI Ngodwana.
The Lime Silo was 5,9 in diameter, 27m High, and weighed 65T.
Abnormal transport to the site required the approval of the Inter-Provincial Roads Departments, Eskom, and Telkom, and took five days to move from workshop to site.
Site installation and commissioning were concluded during a 2-week tie into the existing operational plant.
