Corrosion Protection & Hardwearing Lining

Viva Engineering proudly serves local and international companies within the mining industrial, power generation and architectural industries. In all these industries, corrosion protection is critical to the longevity and full lifecycle costs of the projects.

Viva Engineering works closely with a select number of corrosion application yards which are certified by the Corrosion Institute of South Africa, giving assurance that work is being completed to the correct environmental and ISO specifications. Inspectors in the paint yards are qualified by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), ensuring that our fabricated work is protected to the highest standards.

Lining of platework is usually completed as part of the corrosion protection scope. The co-ordination of rubber lining, ceramic lining and hardwearing steel liners is handled by our project managers while quality assurance and control by our quality department ensures that platework leaves Viva Engineering meeting all our clients’ specifications.
