Workshop Foreman
Description
The Workshop Foreman must be a qualified Boilermaker with a minimum of 15 years’ fabrication and production experience, with excellent knowledge of fabrication processes, quality standards and SHE/OHS compliance.
The role requires strong leadership, people management and coaching ability, with experience managing workshop productivity, labour, deadlines and team development.
The ideal candidate must have strong production planning, problem-solving, decision-making, communication and conflict management skills, be computer literate in Microsoft Office and STRUMIS, and be detail-oriented, results-driven and able to perform under pressure.
Requirements
- Qualified Boilermaker with minimum 15 years’ fabrication/production experience
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching ability
- Excellent knowledge of fabrication processes, quality standards, and SHE/OHS compliance
- Strong production planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience managing workshop productivity, labour, and deadlines
